So we’ve been talking about our new record for the better part of the last year and a half.  It was supposed to be released last spring, er… wait… maybe summer…well definitely by the fall.  I think I may have told a few of you that it will come out by the end of the year if it kills me!  Well, here we are, with the new year almost upon us, and still no record.  At this point I feel like we owe you all an explanation, and I figured what better place to explain than on our new blog page, in my very first blog!

The simple fact of the matter is that while we have worked really hard on the new album, we have also had some set backs that we could never have anticipated.  Some of these “problems” turned out to be blessings in disguise.  Others were equivalent to a flat tire on the race track.  So here’s the deal.  The new megaphone record is so close to being done that we can taste it!  All of the drums, bass, and guitar tracks are finished.  All that’s left is vocals, some percussion, and the mix.  It is 12 tracks of pure rock!  We’re in the process of booking the studio time to get in and finish things up in January.  I’ve learned my lesson about predicting when it will come out, but I can tell you that we are hoping that by early spring, there will be a gigantic, badass, face melting rock explosion somewhere in Orlando, and it will be referred to as the megaphone CD release party.

To those of you who have been waiting, and asking, and wondering, thank you for your patience.  I promise it will be worth the wait.  There are a few songs on the new record that we haven’t even played out yet, so there is definitely something to look forward to.  Please, be patient, and give us just a little more time to get this thing done right, and then we’ll all celebrate!  In the mean time, please help us to promote the new christmas single “The Perfect Gift”.  Buy it on iTunes, tell you friends to buy it, request it on a radio station, request it on all of them.  Thank you for your support!  megaphone fans RULE!!!
